A visceral body horror about plastic surgery that doesn’t quite hit. The dreamlike atmosphere and visuals strike an interesting balance between my favourite media: NBC Hannibal and American Mary. However, the plot and character study did not connect with me, unfortunately becoming a scrambled mess. Not enough psycho, a little too sexual for no comprehensive reason. A shame because I desperately wanted to like this one!
